Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments for both pre-operative and post-operative head and neck surgery cases
- Monitor and manage chronic stable medical conditions in an outpatient setting
- Provide routine and acute medical care within the ambulatory surgical center
- Perform basic medical and surgical procedures as needed under the direction of supervising surgeons
- Document all patient interactions in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and ongoing care requirements
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and infection control protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education relevant to outpatient surgery

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active California Physician Assistant license (PA-C) required
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- California DEA registration
- Demonstrated experience in managing chronic stable medical conditions and acute care in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in basic medical and surgical procedures relevant to outpatient care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interactions
