Physician Assistant – Neurosurgery (PA-C) Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct inpatient rounds in the operating room (OR) and intensive care unit (ICU)
- Act as first assist during neurosurgical procedures
- Participate in a shared call rotation among Physician Assistant staff (approximately 1:4/5 weekends and 1:4/5 nights)
- Provide comprehensive clinical care to neurosurgical patients, both adult and pediatric
- Coordinate with attending surgeons, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in patient charts and records
- Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control policies, and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum of two years’ experience in neurosurgery operating room (OR) settings
- Proven ability to work effectively in hospital and surgical environments
