We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant – Neurosurgery (PA-C) to join our neurosurgery team in Central Wisconsin. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Physician Assistant with neurosurgical experience to provide both inpatient and outpatient care. Physician Assistant – Neurosurgery (PA-C) Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient rounds each morning, assessing and managing neurosurgical patients in collaboration with neurosurgeons and other advanced practice clinicians
- Provide outpatient neurosurgical care, including patient assessments, follow-ups, and care coordination in clinic settings
- Participate in the evaluation and management of a daily census of 10-15 patients, covering both inpatient and outpatient settings, with some telehealth responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within a team consisting of two neurosurgeons and four advanced practice clinicians
- Assist with patient education, discharge planning, and coordination of care across specialties as needed
- Document patient encounters according to established protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Actively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of neurosurgical best practices and participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and ability to practice in Wisconsin
- Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Experience in neurosurgery or acute care settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional integrity
