Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and examinations for outpatient patients.
- Collaborate with neurologists to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and imaging related to neurological disorders.
- Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with practice standards.
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatments in accordance with physician oversight and state regulations.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed for comprehensive treatment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
