Physician Assistant - Gynecology (PA-C) Summary- Full-time locum tenens assignment near Baltimore, Maryland
- Immediate start upon credentialing, lasting approximately 12 weeks
- Inpatient and outpatient gynecology responsibilities
- Requires current Maryland PA license and gynecology experience
- Manage inpatient gynecologic patients, including conducting rounds and overseeing patient care plans
- Provide outpatient gynecologic consultations and maintain a weekly clinic schedule
- Establish medical diagnoses for gynecologic patients and order appropriate diagnostic studies
- Perform therapeutic procedures as required, including pelvic exams and relevant gynecologic interventions
- Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress thoroughly in the medical record system
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care
- Offer education and counseling to patients regarding gynecologic health, treatment options, and follow-up care
