Candidates should also hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. While experience in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery is preferred, newly trained providers with a strong interest in surgical care are encouraged to apply. First Assist certification is a plus, but candidates willing to obtain this credential will also be considered.
