Key clinical tasks include performing procedures such as the removal of chest tubes, sutures, and temporary pacing wires, as directed by supervising medical staff. Your expertise will be vital in supporting patient recovery, monitoring progress, and responding promptly to any changes in clinical status.
The Physician Assistant – Cardiac ICU (PA-C) role involves a flexible schedule, with three 13-hour shifts per week on a rotating basis. Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, requiring adaptability and a commitment to providing exceptional care around the clock. Night shifts are typically grouped together within the monthly schedule, and additional compensation is provided for overnight coverage.
