Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient Orthopedics Job DescriptionOptigy Group is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in outpatient orthopedics for a full-time position in Albuquerque, NM. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic conditions, ensuring the highest standard of rehabilitative care.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote recovery and functional independence.
- Conduct injury prevention and early intervention programs tailored to patient needs.
- Perform ergonomic assessments and worksite safety evaluations for comprehensive patient support.
- Administer post-offer employment testing and work conditioning to assist patients in safely returning to occupational activities.
- Educate patients on wellness strategies, mobility exercises, and long-term self-care to encourage sustained health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Participate in ongoing professional development and pursue certification opportunities to stay current with industry best practices.
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy).
- Active Physical Therapy (PT) license for the state of New Mexico, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Demonstrated interest in outpatient orthopedics and workplace ergonomics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to clinical protocols.

Employment TypeThis is a full-time position based in Albuquerque, NM, within an outpatient orthopedic clinical setting. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexible shifts between 8 AM and 6 PM, and no weekend requirements.
