Responsibilities:
- Promotes Elara Carings philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists.
- Designs and implements a plan of care based on a thorough assessment and patient needs.
- Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care.
- Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve functional goals.
- Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans; maintains prescriptions and signatures.
- Provides direction and leadership to staff and promotes physical therapy in the community.
- May work irregular hours, including call hours if applicable.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an APTA-approved physical therapy program.
- Current, unrestricted PT license valid for the state of work.
- Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare facility.
- Able and willing to travel within the branch or office coverage area (up to 50%).
- Must have a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
