How Youll Contribute:
- Promote Elara Carings philosophy, mission, and policies to ensure quality care.
- Provide direct patient care, assess functional needs and outcomes, and consult with other specialists.
- Design and implement care plans based on thorough assessments, involving significant others when appropriate.
- Conduct therapy within defined standards of care and direct support staff to achieve patient goals.
- Document evaluations, goals, and care plans, maintaining accurate and updated records.
- Provide leadership and act as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.
- Work in a physically demanding, high-stress environment, requiring handling, lifting, and transferring of patients.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current, unrestricted PT license in the state of practice.
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Able and willing to travel 50% throughout the coverage area.
- Must have a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance per state laws.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently, and lift up to 100 lbs.
