Responsibilities:
- Promotes Elara Carings philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists.
- Designs and implements a plan of care for patients based on thorough assessments and patient participation where appropriate.
- Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care.
- Directs support staff to achieve patients functional goals.
- Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans; maintains records and signatures.
- Provides direction, leadership, and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.
- Works in a physically demanding environment involving lifting, handling, and transfer of patients.
- May work irregular hours including call coverage as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
- Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license for the state of work.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility.
- Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
- Willingness to travel within branch coverage area (up to 50%).
