As a Physical Therapist, you will design and implement plans of care, evaluate functional needs, consult with other specialists, and document treatment goals and outcomes.
- Promotes Elara Carings philosophy and mission to ensure quality of care.
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional outcomes, and adjusts care plans to optimize results.
- Incorporates participation by significant others when appropriate.
- Conducts therapy within defined standards of care.
- Directs assistance of support staff to achieve functional goals.
- Documents evaluations, goals, and plans accurately and maintains prescriptions and signatures.
- Provides direction and leadership to staff and serves as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.
- Physically demanding environment requiring handling, lifting, and transfer of patients.
- May work irregular hours, including call hours.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
- Current, unrestricted PT license for the state of practice.
- Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance.
- Ability and willingness to travel within branch coverage area, up to 50%.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
