Job Description:
As a Physical Therapist, you will provide direct patient care, evaluate functional needs and outcomes, and collaborate with other specialists to design individualized plans of care. You will conduct therapy practice within defined standards, lead support staff, and document evaluations and treatment progress accurately. You will also promote the organizations philosophy and serve as a resource for physical therapy in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and evaluate functional outcomes.
- Develop and implement evidence-based plans of care.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with clinical standards.
- Ensure therapy delivery adheres to professional and regulatory guidelines.
- Lead and mentor support staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an APTA-approved physical therapy program.
- Current, unrestricted PT license for the state of work.
- Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare facility.
- Reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to travel within branch/office coverage area up to 50%.
- Ability to lift or transfer patients and equipment (up to 50 pounds).
