Duties & Responsibilities
- Promote the organization's philosophy and mission while adhering to all administrative policies to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Provide direct patient care by evaluating functional needs, implementing evidence-based interventions, and monitoring patient progress.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and other specialists as needed to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Design and implement customized plans of care, incorporating the participation of family members or significant others when appropriate.
- Conduct therapy sessions within defined standards of care and ethical guidelines.
- Direct, mentor, and assist support staff to help patients achieve their functional goals.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation, including evaluation reports, treatment goals, progress notes, and prescriptions requiring signatures.
- Serve as a resource in the community to promote awareness of physical therapy benefits and support patient education initiatives.
- Work in physically demanding environments, including handling, lifting, and transferring patients as needed.
- Adapt to irregular hours and participate in on-call rotations as required by the job.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
- Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license (PT) valid for the state of practice.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility, demonstrating clinical competence and professionalism.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the designated branch or office coverage area as necessary.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state law.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as part of the position’s responsibilities.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
