To succeed as a Physical Therapist (PT), candidates must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program, current and valid state licensure, and certifications in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS). Experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings is preferred, though not required. A strong commitment to patient privacy and adherence to HIPAA regulations is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, the ability to perform tasks under pressure, and an unwavering commitment to evidence-based practice.
