Physical Therapist (PT) - Summary
- Evaluate patients and develop customized physical therapy treatment plans based on medical referrals and individual goals.
- Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education to facilitate recovery and prevent future injury.
- Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient progress, adjusting treatment as needed for optimal outcomes.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and wellness strategies.
- Uphold standards of clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to assess patient conditions and establish appropriate short- and long-term goals.
- Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise regimens, and various modalities.
- Track and record patient progress accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with clinic and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
- Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Preferred: 1-2 years of clinical experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and clinical documentation skills.
