Physical Therapist (PT) - Summary
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-focused physical therapy services to individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or living with disabilities and chronic conditions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physicians, to ensure integrated patient care.
- Utilize advanced clinical reasoning skills to assess, plan, and implement effective treatment strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to assess patient conditions, functional limitations, and therapy goals.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans using manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust interventions as needed, and document outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and functional mobility techniques.
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive patient management and optimize recovery outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation for all patient interactions, treatments, and assessments.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
- Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Preferred: 1-2 years of clinical experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical and evidence-based practice.
