Physical Therapist (PT) - Summary
- Evaluate, plan, and provide physical therapy interventions for patients experiencing injury, disability, or disease.
- Develop customized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and patient-specific goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated and effective care delivery.
- Deliver patient and family education to promote long-term health and recovery strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinic, legal, and regulatory standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to determine patient physical therapy needs.
- Administer appropriate manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation modalities tailored to each patient.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and safeguard sensitive health information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and clinic operations to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current, valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Preferred: 1-2 years of clinical experience, particularly in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
