Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine functional status and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes in accordance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and families on therapy programs, injury prevention, and post-discharge home care strategies.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and hospital regulations regarding physical therapy practice.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, entry-level Master’s Degree, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Current and valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
- Preferred: At least one (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care facility.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
