We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team and provide high-quality rehabilitative care to individuals across the lifespan. Key Responsibilities
- Manage an average caseload of 8-10 patients per day, delivering individualized care tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of patient mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
- Utilize various therapeutic modalities and specialized treatments, including deep tissue and sports massage, kinesio/leuko taping, cupping therapy, electrical stimulation, and dry needling.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed records in compliance with professional standards and regulations.
- Provide patient education and develop follow-up care plans, which may include in-home care recommendations to support ongoing recovery.
- Collaborate with aides, technicians, and assistants, providing direction and supervision to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Offer guidance on the responsible use and maintenance of facility equipment to promote a safe therapeutic environment.
- Recommend appropriate assistive equipment and coordinate with outpatient or home health programs as necessary to support patient independence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
- Experience working with patients in orthopedics, pediatrics, sports medicine, and chronic conditions is highly valued.
- Expertise in dry needling and a range of therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
Areas of Clinical Focus
- Orthopedic dysfunction and injuries
- Post-surgical rehabilitation (e.g., joint replacements, ACL and rotator cuff repairs)
- Chronic pain management and arthritis care
- Workplace and work-related injuries
- Neurologic and vestibular therapy including vertigo, TMJ, and repositioning
- Gait and balance deficits, fall prevention, and core stability/strengthening
- Sports-specific rehabilitation and injury prevention
- Post-stroke rehabilitation and ADL (activities of daily living) support
- Ergonomic assessments and recommendations
