Physical Therapist (PT) – Full-Time About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our small, privately owned physical therapy and occupational therapy clinic in northwest Washington near Olympic National Park. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a patient-centered environment, focusing on orthopedic, surgical, and non-surgical injuries. Our clinic is committed to delivering personalized, one-on-one care to each patient, ensuring tailored treatment plans that prioritize respect, compassion, and concern for individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to a diverse patient population with orthopedic and sports medicine needs.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions, spending 45-60 minutes per appointment to ensure high-quality care.
- Collaborate with a team of two full-time and one part-time Physical Therapists, as well as one part-time Occupational Therapist, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and communicate effectively with the clinic’s support staff.
- Work closely with the front office team, who handle all scheduling, insurance authorizations, and verifications.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities supported by the clinic.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Experience in orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapy is highly preferred.
- Ability to provide patient-centered, individualized care in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support a compassionate and respectful therapeutic atmosphere.
- No neuro experience required for this role.
Schedule and Work Environment
- Full-time position, 32–40 hours per week.
- Typical schedule includes four full days and a half-day on Friday; no weekends, no on-call responsibilities.
- Flexible scheduling options available with variable start and finish times.
