Physical Therapist (DPT) - Summary
- Position: Physical Therapist (DPT)
- Setting: Outpatient, Private Clinic
- Employment Type: Locum tenens, Locum-to-perm, or Permanent
- Location: Denver Metro area
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Assignment Duration: 8-12 weeks, with potential for extension or permanent placement
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of patients with orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and general physical therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient goals
- Provide direct patient care, utilizing evidence-based interventions and modalities
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure timely discharge planning
- Collaborate closely with therapy techs, support staff, and a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Document all patient interactions, evaluations, and treatments using E-Clinical Works EMR system
- Participate in staff meetings, ongoing education, and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and state licensure regulations
- Provide mentorship and support to PT Techs as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Active state license as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Colorado
- Board certification as required by state regulations
- Proficiency with E-Clinical Works EMR or willingness to learn
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of 16-18 patients per day, including adults, pediatrics, and mixed cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
