Applicants for the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) role must have graduated from an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association and possess a current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state in which they practice. A minimum of six months of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred, although candidates with a demonstrated commitment to quality care and a willingness to learn will be considered. The position may require travel within the branch or office coverage area, and a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance are essential for fulfilling home health visits. The ability to lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds is also necessary for safely assisting patients.
