As a Physical Therapist, you'll provide direct patient care, evaluate functional needs and outcomes, and consult with other specialists. You will design and implement individualized plans of care based on assessments of patient potential development and incorporate participation by significant others when appropriate.
- Promotes Elara Carings philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists.
- Designs and implements a plan of care for patients based on assessment findings.
- Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patients functional goals.
- Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans, and regularly updates documentation.
- Provides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.
- Physically demanding environment; includes handling, lifting, and transferring patients.
- May work irregular hours including call hours if applicable.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
- Current, unrestricted PT license valid for the state of work.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility.
- Must be able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area (up to 50%).
- Must have a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance.
- Able to lift and move 50-100 lbs.
