Physiatrist (PM&R) – Spasticity/Botox Specialist

An established Orthopedics & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Physiatrist (PM&R) with specialized experience in spasticity management, particularly using Botox. This opportunity is tailored for physicians passionate about outpatient care and interdisciplinary collaboration in a supportive clinical environment. The Physiatrist (PM&R) – Spasticity/Botox Specialist position is structured for outpatient-only responsibilities, with no inpatient or on-call duties required. Flexible scheduling is provided, generally encompassing two full clinic days per week for three weeks per month. This schedule is designed to offer work-life balance while maintaining continuity of care for patients requiring ongoing spasticity management and rehabilitation services. The role is open to professionals with backgrounds in Physiatry, Neurology, or Pain Medicine, particularly those with an Anesthesiology background, reflecting the center’s interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

As part of a well-established rehabilitation program, the Physiatrist (PM&R) – Spasticity/Botox Specialist will join a collaborative team that includes experienced Registered Nurses (RN) and Medical Assistants (MA). The clinical setting is supported by Epic EMR, ensuring efficient and secure management of patient records. The primary focus will be on the assessment, planning, and administration of Botox for spasticity management, while also providing opportunities for broader physiatry coverage as desired by the successful candidate. The clinic encourages ongoing professional growth and values contributions that enhance the quality of patient care delivered.

Applicants must be board certified in their relevant specialty and hold an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Independent practice capability is essential, as the role requires a high degree of autonomy in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and intervention. Prior experience in Botox administration for spasticity is required to ensure the highest standard of care for patients. EMG experience is considered a valuable asset, as are additional skills that broaden physiatry service offerings within the clinic.
