As a Pharmacist (RPh) at Decypher, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population. Pharmacist (RPh) - Summary- Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to service members, veterans, and their families as part of a mission-driven healthcare team.
- Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those for controlled substances.
- Contribute to Decypher’s commitment to quality care and operational excellence.
- Perform a full scope of pharmacist procedures within the facility’s capabilities.
- Provide medication counseling to patients, ensuring understanding of appropriate use, side effects, and adherence.
- Review patient profiles to closely monitor and optimize medication therapy.
- Verify prescription directions, dosing, medication interactions, therapeutic duplications, allergies, and age-specific considerations.
- Intervene with providers regarding any discrepancies or concerns about medication therapy.
- Compound medications as required for patient needs.
- Oversee accuracy of pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by technical staff.
- Manage inventory and maintain security of all pharmaceuticals, especially controlled substances.

- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a pharmacist (RPh).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least one year of professional pharmacy experience post-graduation.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and ethical practice.
- Possesses excellent communication skills for effective patient counseling and team interaction.
- Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills in managing pharmacy operations.
