Pharmaceutical Courier - Summary- Responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals and medical specimens to clients nationwide.
- Operates as an independent contractor, utilizing personal, well-maintained, and insured vehicles.
- Represents MMS Courier in all client interactions, upholding the company’s standards of professionalism and service.
- Completes all required training in regulatory compliance and specimen handling.
- Collect, transport, and deliver pharmaceuticals and medical specimens in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor during all deliveries and client interactions.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within established timeframes.
- Utilize GPS and routing tools to efficiently navigate delivery routes.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle to ensure the safety and integrity of all transported items.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures related to HIPAA, OSHA, and IATA regulations.
- Submit required documentation and delivery confirmations promptly and accurately.
- Participate in required ongoing training for compliance and best practices.

- Valid driver’s license with an exemplary driving record.

- Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
- Possession of 100/300 commercial insurance coverage.
- Current EIN number with the IRS.
- Completion of OSHA, IATA, and HIPAA training, including proper handling and transport of various specimen types.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Professional name badge with photo for identification.
