Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) Job OverviewAllen Insurance Group, a well-established family-owned agency specializing in both personal and commercial lines of insurance, is seeking a dedicated Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) for a full-time position. The Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in maintaining and strengthening relationships with our current personal lines clients. This position is designed for individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and an interest in the insurance industry. Responsibilities- Utilize agency management systems to shop expiring personal insurance policies at renewal with a range of carrier partners.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client service requests and policy endorsement inquiries as they are received.
- Manage and process daily downloads efficiently each morning to ensure accurate client information.
- Assist clients with basic billing questions, providing clear and helpful explanations regarding their statements or payment schedules.
- Generate and review weekly and monthly reports to monitor client account status, policy renewals, and service metrics.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve the agency’s goal of retaining 100% of the personal lines book of business each year.
- Strive for continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Full-time availability is required for the Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) position.
- No prior insurance experience is necessary, though previous exposure to customer service or insurance is preferred and beneficial.
- A valid Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license is an advantage, though not mandatory for initial employment.
- Proficiency with computers, agency management systems, and VOIP phone technology is essential for success in this role.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to client service excellence are highly valued.
