Perfusionist (CCP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate heart-lung machines and other extracorporeal circulation equipment during cardiac surgery and other medical procedures
- Provide expert perfusion support for high-acuity cardiac cases including ECMO, CABG, complex aortic procedures, TAVR, HIPEC, angiovac, VV bypass, and live/liver transplants
- Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team for optimal patient care
- Participate in a robust on-call schedule (weekdays and weekends as required)
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to safety protocols and quality standards
- Support a growing cardiac program with increasing procedure volumes
- Demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Qualifications & Requirements
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) with active ABCP certification required
- Current state licensure as a Perfusionist required for assignment
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an ECMO perfusionist
- Demonstrated clinical experience with complex cardiac cases
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
