PeopleSoft HCM Mainframe Analyst - Summary
- Support and maintain complex HR systems, focusing on the CAPPS Program and PeopleSoft HCM modules.
- Provide advanced consultative services and functional support to streamline HR operations and ensure compliance.
- Contribute technical expertise in mainframe environments to enhance workforce administration and system integration.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver senior-level consultative services and functional assistance for the CAPPS Program, ensuring optimal HR system performance.
- Offer subject matter expertise in workforce administration, workforce setup, HR security configuration, and job structure support within PeopleSoft HCM.
- Configure and support CAPPS workflows, including the Approval Workflow Engine (AWE), and develop relevant queries and reports.
- Ensure adherence to FMLA and other compliance requirements, including plan entitlements, leave type customization, module integration, and compliance reporting.
- Utilize technical skills in Application Designer, Integration Broker web services, and SQL to support system customization and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare WCAG 2.1-compliant materials for distribution, supporting accessibility goals.
- Stay current with federal and state labor regulations, ensuring that all HR modules are configured to meet applicable legal requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Significant experience supporting the HR module in PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2.
- Demonstrated expertise with Texas public sector HR operations and direct support for state government agencies.
- Comprehensive understanding of State of Texas policy and federal labor laws relevant to HR systems and practices.
- Proficiency in technical tools such as Application Designer, Integration Broker web services, and SQL for system customization and reporting.
- Experience preparing and distributing WCAG 2.1-compliant materials to promote accessibility in organizational communications.
