Pediatrician (MD/DO, Pediatrics) - Summary
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care in both clinical and hospital-based settings.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for children and adolescents.
- Conduct outpatient clinical visits Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Provide inpatient call coverage approximately 5-7 nights per month, typically aligned with clinical weeks.
- Perform pediatric procedures, including circumcisions, as required by the facility.
- Manage an average daily patient load of 16 during clinical hours.
- Respond to occasional pediatric calls during call shifts (average 0-2 calls per shift; call is rare).
- Collaborate with a dedicated registered nurse and utilize Epic EMR for efficient patient care management.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certification in Pediatrics (BC Pediatrics).
- Active and unrestricted state medical license.
- Experience in both clinical and hospital-based pediatric care preferred.
- Proficiency in pediatric procedures, including circumcision.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Epic or comparable EMR systems is advantageous.
