Located in Gainesville, FL, our clinic strives to be an integral part of the community, providing essential healthcare services for children from infancy through adolescence. Pediatricians in this role are expected to manage a broad spectrum of pediatric health concerns, including preventive care, acute and chronic illnesses, immunizations, and well-child visits. The position requires a proactive approach to patient care, with a focus on building trusting relationships with families and advocating for the best interests of every child under your care.
As a Pediatrician (MD/DO, Pediatrics), you will work alongside a team that includes front desk professionals, schedulers, certified medical assistants (CMA), and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). Pediatrician (MD/DO, Pediatrics) - Summary
- Full-time role providing primary care to pediatric patients in Gainesville, FL.
- Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care to infants, children, and adolescents.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct routine well-child visits, physical exams, and developmental screenings.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric health issues.
- Administer vaccinations and provide preventive health education to patients and families.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as medically indicated.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and support staff, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
- Participate in clinic meetings, continuing medical education (CME), and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to families regarding growth, nutrition, safety, and developmental milestones.
- Participate in community health promotion and outreach activities as requested.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of an accredited pediatric residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (BC/BE preferred).
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Florida.
- FM or IM/Peds backgrounds may be considered.
