As a Pediatrician (MD/DO, Pediatrics) in Gainesville, FL, you will be responsible for managing a steady patient volume while working alongside skilled colleagues and a robust support team. You will be empowered to provide routine pediatric services, including well-child visits, immunizations, sports physicals, and preventive health education. Pediatrician (MD/DO, Pediatrics) – Summary
- Full-time Pediatrician position in Gainesville, FL
- Delivering primary care to pediatric patients in a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment

- Practice focused on preventive care, wellness visits, immunizations, and patient education
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric patients, including well-child exams, acute and chronic illness management, and developmental screening
- Administer immunizations and perform sports and school physicals
- Educate patients and families on preventive health strategies, growth and development, and disease management
- Work collaboratively with the front desk, scheduler, certified medical assistant (CMA), and ARNP to ensure efficient patient flow and care coordination
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical best practices
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education (CME) to stay current in pediatric medicine

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited pediatric residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (BC/BE preferred)
- FM or IM/Peds backgrounds considered
- Demonstrated passion for patient-centered pediatric care
- Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
