Pediatrician (MD/DO, Pediatrics) Job OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated Pediatrician (MD/DO, Pediatrics) to join our established primary care pediatric practice in Boca Raton, FL. As a full-time member of our clinical team, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive and compassionate healthcare to children from infancy through adolescence. Our practice is committed to delivering high-quality primary care in a supportive, family-centered environment, serving a diverse patient population throughout Boca Raton, Florida.
Responsibilities- Provide primary care services for pediatric patients, including well-child visits, immunizations, sports physicals, and acute care assessments.
- Conduct thorough examinations and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including front desk staff, certified medical assistants (CMA), schedulers, and an advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP), to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with clinical protocols and HIPAA regulations.
- Educate parents and guardians on child development, preventive care, and health maintenance best practices.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to foster trust and rapport with patients and their families.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education (CME) to remain current with advancements in pediatric medicine.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of an accredited pediatric residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (BC/BE preferred).
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Florida.
- FM or IM/Peds backgrounds are considered.
- Demonstrated passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese is required for this position.
