The Pediatrician (MD/DO) position offers the chance to work in a supportive, multidisciplinary medical team. Pediatrician (MD/DO) - Summary
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care to patients from infancy through adolescence.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment and preventive care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams and families to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay abreast of current pediatric medical advancements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct routine examinations, health screenings, and developmental assessments for pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic pediatric conditions, illnesses, and injuries.
- Create, implement, and evaluate patient-specific care plans in partnership with families.
- Educate parents and guardians on disease prevention, nutrition, safety, and ongoing wellness strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date medical records for all patient encounters, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
- Manage and respond to pediatric emergencies, including performing trauma care and life-saving interventions as needed.
- Stay updated with advances in pediatric medicine, including participating in clinical trials when appropriate.
- Adhere strictly to established medical guidelines, protocols, and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree with a specialization in Pediatrics.
- Active or eligible for a valid medical license.
- Experience with pediatric bariatrics, gastric lavage, and ventilator management preferred.
- Skilled in using relevant pediatric medical equipment and technology.
- Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive care plans addressing both physical and behavioral health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
