As a Pediatric Radiologist (MD/DO), Locum Tenens, you will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of pediatric imaging studies, including fluoroscopy, emergency department imaging, stat cases, and ultrasound. The case mix covers all pediatric radiology modalities except for Neuro and Musculoskeletal MRI. Your expertise in managing a variety of fluoroscopy cases, such as upper GI series, small bowel follow-through, enemas, and voiding cystourethrograms (VCUG), is essential. The typical daily volume expectation is approximately 40 RVUs per shift, ensuring a balanced and manageable workload.
The assignment includes a rotating seven-day schedule with coverage from 8 am to 5 pm, including evening and overnight call duties. While call frequency is generally low, providers may be called in for urgent cases, particularly intussusceptions and upper GI series for malrotation. Collaboration with a physician assistant is standard, with the PA handling a portion of video swallow speech studies except on designated days when the radiologist manages all cases.
Our facility leverages state-of-the-art technology, utilizing EMR systems such as RP Cloud, Intelerad, Powerscribe, and Clario for efficient workflow and documentation. The credentialing process typically takes 60 to 90 days, and an active state medical license is required to be considered for this locum tenens position.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Board Certification in Pediatric Radiology.
- Active state medical license in good standing.
- Previous experience in a hospital-based pediatric radiology role preferred.
- Familiarity with trauma level I hospital protocols and pediatric imaging standards.
- Ability to interpret a broad range of pediatric imaging studies, excluding Neuro and Musculoskeletal MRI.
