Pediatric Radiologist - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret and report on a range of pediatric radiological studies including emergent, inpatient routine, stat, stroke, and urgent cases.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other medical staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
- Manage and prioritize caseloads, maintaining a volume expectation of approximately 55 RVUs per shift.
- Utilize hospital EMR systems, including RPCE Tech Stack and Powerscribe 4.0, for documentation and reporting.
- Follow best practices and hospital protocols to support optimal patient care and safety.
- Participate in peer reviews, case discussions, and continuous quality improvement initiatives as required by the hospital.
- Maintain ongoing communication with referring clinicians to address diagnostic questions and clarify imaging findings.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of a residency in Radiology and fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology.
- Board Certification in Pediatric Radiology, or Board Eligibility within five years of completion of training.
- Active state medical license required.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting pediatric radiological studies in a hospital or trauma setting preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly RPCE Tech Stack and Powerscribe 4.0, is highly desirable.
- Ability to commit to a minimum three-month assignment with potential for extension.
- Credentialing process typically requires 60 to 90 days; prompt submission of required documentation is important.
