This essential role focuses on delivering expert, compassionate care to pediatric patients with pulmonary conditions, such as asthma, bronchitis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), and sleep apnea. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive environment. The Pediatric Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will be responsible for managing a consistent patient census and performing standard pulmonary procedures, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and safety for all patients.
This locum assignment is anticipated to begin in late December or January and extend through the end of July, with the potential for extension through December 2025. The Pediatric Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will work a regular 5-day schedule, seeing approximately 16 patients per week, and will participate fully in the ongoing care and management of the pediatric pulmonary population. The ideal candidate will possess a current California license and DEA certification, demonstrating a strong foundation in pediatric pulmonary care and a commitment to providing a supportive and empathetic environment for young patients and their families.
