Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) - Summary
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on detailed evaluations and consultations.
- Promote optimal physical development and participation in daily activities for children with varying needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of children’s physical abilities, growth, and developmental progress.
- Create and execute personalized therapy plans to enhance mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Facilitate children’s participation in activities at home, school, and within the community by addressing movement challenges.
- Educate children and families about essential movement skills, including crawling, walking, running, playing, and engaging in sports.
- Recommend and help fit orthotics, mobility aids, and other supportive equipment to maximize safety and access to diverse environments.
- Monitor patient outcomes, document progress, and adjust interventions as necessary to foster continuous improvement.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to program development, and support community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
- Experience or specialized training in pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of child growth, development, and pediatric conditions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
