Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary- Deliver primary pediatric care to children and adolescents in a supportive, team-oriented environment
- Work closely with supervising physicians and healthcare staff to ensure the best outcomes for patients
- Maintain autonomy in clinical decision-making with available support as needed
- Practice in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), with an emphasis on serving a diverse community
- Full-time, permanent position with a consistent weekday schedule
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients aged 0-18
- Manage patient volume of 12-16 visits per day, ensuring quality care and efficient workflow
- Educate patients and families on preventive care, wellness, and chronic condition management
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with legal requirements
- Provide culturally sensitive care, with a preference for bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates
