We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our outpatient pediatric primary care team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering advanced nursing care and supporting physicians in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of pediatric patients, ranging from infancy through adolescence. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) will play a central part in providing high-quality, patient-centered care, ensuring that every child and family receives the support they need for optimal health and well-being.

As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), you will be entrusted with a variety of clinical and collaborative duties. You will provide comprehensive care to infants, children, and teenagers, addressing both acute and chronic medical conditions. Your responsibilities will include conducting physical examinations, administering immunizations, and performing school or extracurricular physicals. You will also be responsible for collecting patient histories and conducting thorough assessments of both physical and mental development, with a focus on early detection of potential health concerns.

In addition, the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) will order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies, to guide effective treatment planning. Working closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) is an essential aspect of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) role, ensuring the continuity of care and effective communication within the team. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) position requires completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP), an active NP license, and board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP). Candidates should possess at least two to four years of experience in pediatric primary care or a related clinical setting.
