Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) - Summary- Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric patients from birth through 12 years of age.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in an established pediatric clinic environment.
- Build and manage your own patient panel while working with increasing autonomy over time.
- Utilize Epic EHR for efficient patient documentation and care coordination.
- Serve as a trusted healthcare resource for children and their families in the Northern Maine region.
- Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations for pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including medication management.
- Perform new patient consultations and ongoing follow-up care.
- Provide preventive care, including immunizations, screenings, and patient/family education.
- Document all patient interactions and clinical findings accurately in the Epic EHR system.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pediatric best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and clinic protocols.

- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a pediatric focus.
- Board Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-BC or equivalent) required.
- Active licensure as a Nurse Practitioner; Maine license preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Experience with Epic EHR preferred but not required.
- Ability to see patients from newborn through 12 years of age.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.

- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Motivated to build and manage a personal patient panel within the clinic.
