Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced practice nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU and Transitional Care Unit
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in family education and support, delivering compassionate communication about patient conditions and care plans
- Support patient transitions between levels of care and contribute to multidisciplinary rounds
- Document all patient care accurately and in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pediatric critical care best practices and protocols

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and valid California Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- DEA registration
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric intensive care or a comparable acute care setting preferred
