Pediatric Hospitalist Physician - Summary
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care for pediatric patients, from infancy through adolescence.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Admit, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients with a variety of medical conditions requiring hospitalization.

- Conduct daily patient rounds, monitor progress, and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Provide clear communication and education to patients’ families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care with outpatient providers.
- Contribute to hospital quality improvement initiatives and participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities.
- Document all patient interactions and clinical decisions accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics (ABP or AOBP).
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in NV or eligibility to obtain one.
- Completion of an accredited pediatric residency program.
- Prior hospitalist experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based medicine.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
