Pediatric Endocrinologist (MD/DO) – Summary
- Full-time, permanent position in AK focused on pediatric endocrinology.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to children and adolescents with endocrine disorders.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a variety of pediatric endocrine disorders, including diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal and pituitary conditions, pubertal disorders, and other hormonal imbalances.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, laboratory evaluation, and imaging studies as appropriate.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, lifestyle modification, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing clinical education to ensure best practices in pediatric endocrinology.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, primary care providers, and specialists to ensure continuity of care for pediatric patients.
- Contribute to clinical research, teaching, and mentorship activities as desired.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency in Pediatrics followed by fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology (ABP or equivalent).
- Active and unrestricted state medical license (or eligibility to obtain licensure in AK).
- Demonstrated experience and competence in managing pediatric endocrine disorders.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
