Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician (PEM) - Summary- Full-time, permanent position in a nationally recognized pediatric emergency center
- High-acuity emergency department with 45 dedicated pediatric ED beds
- Over 59,000 annual pediatric emergency visits and a 16% admission rate
- Only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in the region, serving a 46-county area
- Opportunities for academic appointment through leading medical school

- Provide high-quality, evidence-based emergency medical care to pediatric patients
- Participate in clinical coverage including 8- and 9-hour shifts with robust physician and APP support
- Engage in clinical teaching, supervision, and mentorship of pediatric EM fellows and residents from multiple specialties
- Contribute to academic pursuits such as quality improvement, advocacy, education, and research initiatives
- Utilize advanced EMR tools for efficient, accurate documentation and patient management
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered nurses trained in advanced pediatric care
- Participate in faculty development and leadership training opportunities
- Support the expansion and continuous improvement of emergency and trauma services
- Competitive hourly compensation ($188/hr)
- Sign-on bonus ($60,000)

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Advanced clinical expertise in pediatric emergency settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team-based care

- Ability to obtain and maintain state and federal medical licensure
- For APPs: BC PA or PNP-Acute Care/FNP with at least 2 years of pediatric emergency, critical care, or urgent care experience
- Demonstrated passion for pediatric emergency medicine in both clinical and academic settings
- Collaborative, team-oriented professional eager to mentor and teach
- Interest in advancing clinical, research, and quality improvement initiatives
- Comfortable managing high-acuity pediatric cases and working in a fast-paced environment
- Open to leadership development and ongoing learning opportunities
