Pediatric Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - Summary- Full-time advanced practice provider role in pediatric emergency medicine
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a busy emergency department setting
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to pediatric patients with acute and emergent conditions
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training initiatives
- Perform comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients presenting to the emergency department
- Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging
- Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based treatment plans for a variety of pediatric emergencies
- Perform procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, wound care, and airway management as needed
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
- Work closely with pediatric emergency physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Document all care in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Previous clinical experience in pediatric emergency medicine or acute care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and procedural skills
