Pediatric Cardiology Imaging Director - Summary
- Lead and expand the pediatric cardiac imaging laboratory, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in all imaging practices
- Oversee the daily operations, protocols, and quality assurance initiatives for cardiac MRI, CT, and fetal imaging
- Develop and implement strategic goals for imaging services in collaboration with hospital leadership and clinical teams
- Mentor and train staff and fellows, fostering a culture of professional development and continuous learning
- Drive innovation and adoption of new imaging modalities and techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and direction for all pediatric cardiac imaging services, including MRI, CT, and fetal imaging
- Champion the expansion of the imaging laboratory by identifying growth opportunities and implementing evidence-based practices
- Establish and maintain protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy, patient safety, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways for pediatric patients
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and performance evaluations for imaging staff and processes
- Support research and education in advanced pediatric cardiac imaging methods
- Represent the imaging lab at departmental and institutional meetings, advocating for resources and advancements in technology

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Pediatric Cardiology
- 5-7 years of clinical experience with a primary focus in imaging
