The Pediatric Cardiac ICU Nurse Practitioner (Pediatric Acute Care NP, CICU NP) will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure the highest standards of care. The ideal candidate brings at least one year of pediatric critical care experience and possesses a well-rounded skill set for performing advanced procedures in a pediatric cardiac ICU. Candidates must hold current Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification or be a licensed Physician Assistant with relevant experience.
This is a contract assignment starting July 2025 and ending in December 2025, with an initial 26-week duration. The unit features 6-8 beds and provides care to critically ill pediatric patients following cardiac surgery. Shifts consist of 12-13 hours, with a mix of day, overnight, and weekend coverage, requiring a commitment of at least six shifts every four weeks.
