Pediatric Anesthesiologist (Locum Tenens) - Summary
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care to pediatric patients in a hospital operating room environment on a locum tenens basis.
- Work regular weekday shifts and participate in scheduled weekend call coverage as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Monitor patients' vital signs and responses to anesthesia, making necessary adjustments to optimize safety and outcomes.
- Collaborate with pediatric surgeons, nurses, and other members of the perioperative team to develop and implement appropriate anesthetic plans.
- Manage postoperative pain relief and monitor recovery, addressing any complications or concerns promptly.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the anesthesia department.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all anesthesia-related care and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology.
- Fellowship training or significant experience in Pediatric Anesthesiology preferred.
- Current board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA or equivalent).
- Unrestricted medical license in the relevant state or ability to obtain state license prior to start date.
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required.
- Demonstrated expertise in the care of pediatric patients within the perioperative setting.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
